Car Sort is a browser-based puzzle game developed by YIGOT that tasks you with coordinating and grouping cars into garages based on their color. Starting with a jumble of vehicles scattered across various garages, you must move them onto the lanes and sort them using the smartest strategies possible.
Much like other traffic-themed puzzle games, Car Sort tests your ability to coordinate vehicle movement. Use your keen observation skills to assess the cars parked in each garage and navigate them along the lanes to their correct, color-matched destinations.
In Level 5, hidden cars appear, increasing the game's difficulty.
Start by prioritizing garages that contain only two color groups. Some garages may hold three or more different colors, requiring you to move more cars onto the lane to reach those parked further back. Therefore, it is best to clear the garages with only two color groups first.
Manage the lanes carefully. There is only one lane for cars to travel along to reach their corresponding garages, so avoid rushing to push all the vehicles onto it at once. If the lane becomes completely blocked and you are unable to move the cars into their garages, you lose the game.
Unlock hidden vehicles: From level 5 onwards, the game increases in difficulty by introducing mystery vehicles tucked away among the others. You must move the cars parked in front of them to reveal their true colors.
Left-click on a lane to send the cars moving onto it automatically. They will automatically move into garages that have available slots, provided the lead car already in that garage matches their color. Car Sort is a one-touch game centered on strategic thinking and problem-solving, making the controls very simple.
