Slime Laboratory is a physics-based platformer where you must guide a slime blob to the end of the laboratory. Choose between single-player or two-player modes.

Developed by Neutronized, Slime Laboratory centers on a squishy slime protagonist. The goal is to navigate the slime past obstacles, collect floppy disks, and reach the end of the lab.

Slime Laboratory Rules for Beginners

  • Choose single-player or two-player mode. In two-player mode, both players control their own slime blobs using a single keyboard.
  • Overcome obstacles: The lab features varying platform heights and hazards like lasers and purple acid. Slide across the floor and climb over high ledges. Avoid lasers and use objects to reach higher areas.
  • Collect floppy disks: Earn extra points by collecting three types of floppy disks: black, blue, and red. Black disks award the fewest points (100), blue disks are worth 200 points, and red disks are worth 500 points.
  • Collect slime droplets: Droplets falling from test tubes increase your slime's size. A larger slime can jump higher. Once the slime reaches maximum size, it can smash through walls. Monitor your size using the Slime-o-meter.
  • Set checkpoints: Press the Space key to set a checkpoint and secure a respawn point.

Controls

  • Use WASD or arrow keys to move, jump, or squeeze through narrow passages.
  • Press the Space key to shrink the slime.
  • Space: Set a checkpoint or resume the game.

Tips for Winning in Slime Laboratory

  • Don't overstretch the slime: Stretching the slime too far can cause it to explode.
  • Increase slime size: Collect small slime droplets to grow larger. Large slimes can jump onto higher platforms or collect floppy disks located high up.
  • Activating checkpoints: Step onto a checkpoint and press the Space key to unlock it. This grants you a respawn point should you hit a laser or fall into a pool of acid.
