Snake 3D puts players in 3D space on the surface of a cube. You navigate a snake to collect apples to extend its body and avoid colliding with itself.
You must collect as many red apples as possible to lengthen the snake and earn a higher score. You control the snake with the arrow keys or WASD to move in all directions, swipe on touch devices to steer, and press Space or ESC to pause. When the snake’s head runs into its own body, the round ends, and your score is logged.
In Snake 3D, the snake is initially short and moves slowly. The snake will grow longer, and the control speed becomes more difficult after each apple eaten. The viewing angle will rotate in the direction of movement to help you locate the snake as it moves on the 3D cube surface. However, this also increases the difficulty as the snake gets longer.
Snake 3D is engaging because of its modernized take on a classic game. The new 3D space forces players to calculate their path and predict their moves as the snake gets longer.
